Rules for skill training 

 

Rule One

Required for continued participation

It has to be fun, and remain to be fun.

That's why they call it play. 

Rule Two   

Required by Rule One-

There has to be time spent on it in a learning environment. 

Needed to strengthen your movement with better timing and rhythm.

Rule Three

Required by Rule Two- 

It takes a long time to reach higher skill levels. 

High skill levels come with time- more time than many athletes, parents, and coaches want to wait.  

Forcing early results causes injury and lowers the overall enjoyment and potential of the athlete.
